Privacy Policy – Shorts Uploader

Shorts Uploader (“the app”) is a private Google Apps Script tool owned and operated by Prathmesh Pawar (“the owner”). It is used only by the owner, for the owner's own accounts.

1. Who and what data the app accesses

The app accesses only the owner's own Google, YouTube and Instagram data. It has no other users and does not access, collect or process any third-party user's account data.

2. How access is granted (OAuth scopes)

Access is granted by the owner through Google OAuth. The app requests only these permissions:

• YouTube upload – to upload the owner's own videos (and set their thumbnails) on the owner's own YouTube channel.
• Google Drive files – to read the owner's own video, caption and cover files from his Drive and to move them between his own folders.
• Google Sheets – to write logs and records to the owner's own spreadsheets.
• Gmail read-only – used only to read the owner's own sale notification emails so each sale can be recorded in his own spreadsheet. The app never sends, changes or deletes email.

Instagram posting uses the owner's own Instagram professional account through Meta's official API, with a token created by the owner.

3. Where data is stored

Data is stored only in the owner's own Google Drive and Google Sheets. The app has no separate server or database.

4. Sharing

No data is shared, sold, rented or transferred to anyone. The app does not use advertising, analytics or tracking, and this website sets no cookies.

5. Google API Services User Data Policy

The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the app's features to the owner, is not transferred to others, is not used for advertising, and is not read by humans except by the owner himself.

6. Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions by removing “Shorts Uploader”. Instagram access can be removed in Meta's Business Integrations settings.

7. Data retention and deletion

Data stays in the owner's Google Drive and Sheets until the owner deletes it. Revoking access stops all further access.
